Your Havanese has been bred from temperamentally sound parents who have been declared to be in good health and of recommended breeding quality by a veterinarian. At the time you take ownership of your puppy it will have been examined by a veterinarian and been immunized with the appropriate vaccinations and deworming treatment, and the vaccination record will be provided from the breeder's veterinarian.
The puppy is sold with AKC pet registration, meaning it may not be used for breeding and must be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age.
The initial deposit of $300 will be considered non-refundable and the balance of the adoption fee is due prior to the puppy being placed with the new owner. The puppy will be available to be picked up at 8-9 weeks of age at a time mutually agreed upon by buyer and seller.
The puppy should be taken to a veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase. If any congenital or hereditary defects are found that would interfere with the puppy’s ability to lead a normal life, the puppy can be returned to the breeder for a full refund.
The puppy is warranted for the period of two years against hereditary and congenital disorders that would interfere with the puppy’s ability to lead a normal life. Should a veterinarian find a life-threatening hereditary or congenital disorder within two years of purchase, you must supply to us, within 10 days of diagnosis, your veterinarian’s written report. We reserve the right to have any diagnosis verified by a veterinarian of our choice at our cost. This puppy would then be replaced by another of equal value as available, or vet costs paid for up to the original cost of the puppy to allow you to keep your puppy. In the event of the puppy's death, a necropsy must be performed to determine the cause of death.
The buyer agrees to provide a suitable environment for this puppy and agrees to keep him/her current on the required immunizations and to provide proper vet care. It is also recommended that the puppy be fed a quality dog food to ensure the best possible overall health and life expectancy.
If the buyer is ever in a position where he can no longer keep the puppy or provide a proper home for the dog, the dog must be returned to the breeder. The puppy is not to be resold or surrendered to an animal shelter.
Adult size, confirmation, color, temperament, coat type and teeth cannot be guaranteed.
Breeder and Buyer certify by signing this agreement of sale that the above conditions of sale will be followed.
